Heat Treat Line
CSD provided multi-discipline construction engineering services for a new process line to treat and quench high alloy steel for a major U.S. steel company. The project modified the site layout to facilitate the integration of a new line that included two chamber furnaces and quench tanks into the existing facility. This addition was designed with scalability and constructability to allow for installation with zero disruption to current operations. The design also will allow for future expansion while minimizing additional capital expenditures.
