Grinder Expansion
CSD Engineers provided multi-discipline construction engineering services for the installation of three used titanium sheet grinders and two new thin sheet grinders for a client in the lightweight metals sector. The installed grinders relied on a Swarf Filtration system with subsystems that recirculate and cool Swarf through a press filter. CSD Engineers designed a three bay extension to the crane building, exhaust fans for the grinder cabinets, and designed a masonry building for the filtration equipment. The scope included a steam heating system throughout the facility.
