Butane Storage Automation
CSD Engineers provided complete control system design, programming, and commissioning for a Butane Storage terminal. The design allowed for the transfer of Butane from a five-bay railcar rack to an underground storage well. Butane is then delivered to the area customers via a two-bay truck loading rack. The control system included AB PLC process and safety control of the facility, as well as interfacing to the automated truck rack.
