Acid Mixing Control System Upgrades
CSD Engineers replaced existing PLC-5 based acid mixing systems across multiple facilities, to a new Rockwell Automation based system with minimal downtime. New replacement panel designs were created to standardize the platform across all facilities. The project also implemented new modular PLC coding techniques to standardize operations and speed up the conversion process for future lines. The system architecture was tailored to encompass multiple acid mixing operations across all facilities, in a method that was quick to employ, easy to maintain, and non-disruptive to current operations.
